What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• your name, billing address and delivery address
• your email address and telephone number
• your order and purchase history
• your personalisation instructions, and any photographs, artwork or text you upload for a personalised product
• correspondence between you and us
• technical information such as your IP address, browser and device
• information collected through cookies and similar technologies
• payment information needed to take your payment

We do not store your full card details. Payments are handled by our payment provider on their own secure systems.

What we use it for

We use your information to take and fulfil your order, make your personalised product, take payment, arrange delivery, answer your questions, prevent fraud, keep the accounting and tax records we are required to keep, improve the shop, and send you marketing where we are allowed to.

Our lawful bases

We only use personal information where the law gives us a basis to do so:

• Contract, where we need it to take your order, make your product, take payment or deliver it.
• Legal obligation, where tax, accounting or consumer law requires us to keep it.
• Legitimate interests, where it is reasonably necessary to run and protect the business, answer enquiries or prevent fraud, and your rights do not override that.
• Consent, where you have given us permission, for example for marketing emails or non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Your artwork and photographs

Files you send us for a personalised product are used to make that product. We will not use your photographs or artwork in our own marketing without asking you first. You are responsible for having the right to use anything you send us.

Who we share it with

Only where it is needed to run the shop:

• our payment provider, to take and settle payments
• couriers and delivery companies, to get your parcel to you
• our website hosting and technology suppliers
• our accountant and professional advisers
• fraud prevention and security providers
• public authorities, where the law requires it

We do not sell your personal information.

Information leaving the UK

Some of our suppliers process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens we take the steps UK data protection law requires to make sure your information stays protected.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we reasonably need it, including for legal, accounting, tax and dispute purposes. Order records are kept for the period UK law requires. Personalisation files are kept while we need them to make your order, handle any question about it, and let you reorder, unless the law requires longer.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, but the site is served over an encrypted connection and payments are handled by our payment provider.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete information we no longer need
• restrict or object to how we use it
• transfer it to someone else
• stop using it where we relied on your consent

Marketing

We only send marketing email where we are allowed to, and you can unsubscribe from any of it at any time. Messages about an order you have placed are not marketing and will still be sent.

Where we link to another website, we are not responsible for how it handles your information. Read its own privacy policy before you give it anything.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices, the shop or the law change. The current version always lives on this page.
